The kid has great high school stats, but New Mexico is 1 of the worst states in the country when it comes to talent and conpetition at the high school level. Since 2010, they have had just two 4* players and nine 3* players in the entire state. And just 30 recruits total. Since 2010. And go back even further, since 2005 it's produced just four 4* and eleven 3*. He's plYing against really really bad teams.

From everything I've read, he's a good kid with a 4.0 GPA and all that. So don't think something happened off the field. And he attended a lot of camps and showcases and all that... And still not a single D1 offer. Obviously scouts and schools and coachs saw him in person and didn't think he was good enough.
