Smacking while eating

Bad or worst thing ever? I can't even begin to describe how irritating it is to me. I mean like drive you to temporary insanity and kill the person level irritating.
Do they not know they are smacking? Do they know but don't understand how ill mannered/irritating/disgusting it is to people around them?
The person in question not only smacks while eating, but then proceeds to engage in some weird, post meal smacking/clicking for 10 minutes. I suppose to dislodge food in teeth. I'm on the brink...

It's disgusting. My stepdaughter does it after she comes back from being with her dad and his family. They must be smackers.

Same here. It was the number one most important rule at the table. Mouth closed, no smacking.

My girlfriend is the worst with this, but it doesn't really bother me. I find it cute sometimes.
