That dude is impressive. He really can be dominant in a few years, IMO.

You ever consider doing some scouting on the side for extra money?

I was on board with this a couple of months ago. But Cleveland has rebounded well since the trades. They have a shot to win the title. Trade is validated if they do.

That first Cleveland roster this year was a joke.

If they were building for the future, it would.

But they have LeBron in his prime and are building for right now.

It was the right trade, IF Kevin Love stays.

When he walks in a room, I can hardly breathe. He's got a devastating smile that knocks a grown man to his knees.

In the NBA, players like Wiggins can go from novice rookie to stud contributor in less than one season.

In Minnesota he is allowed to shoot at will and is their #2 scoring option, except for win K Mart is hurt which is a lot. He was allowed to mature faster there but still he is only putting up what.. 15/4/2 on 43% shooting.

Even if he was able to get those numbers up to 23/5/5 in the next few seasons with TWolves he STILL wouldn't be where K Love was.

Love was averaging 26\12 and almost getting his team to the playoffs last year. He also won the 3 pt challenge during the all star break a couple years ago. As a 6'11 power forward... Kevin Love is the better player RIGHT NOW and for the next couple of years.

If they had kept Andrew Wiggins a lot of things would have been different. First off, he is a small forward. Oh wait, so is LEBRON JAMES. They could have moved him to SG, and then have Dion Waiters be his backup. That would maybe work.. Then they would never have gotten JR Smith or Iman Shumpert.

They also wouldn't have the stretch 4 they have now (Kevin Love) which is what makes their offense go. Without him, and instead Wiggins in the starting lineup there would not be any spacing for Kyrie or LeBron.

Also, I love how everyone's on Wiggins dick for averaging 15 pts on the worst team in the league. Yeah, thats nice for a rookie but it's really not that spectacular. I will admit, his defense is better than K Love's. but Love is better in EVERY SINGLE other aspect of the game and will be for the next few years, which is what the Cavs are playing for.

People thinking this is stupid trade aren't thinking about the whole situation.

The fact is, Kevin Love is at his peak. Andrew Wiggins has the potential to be the next LeBron (27/7/7).

Not likely to happen, but that's what people are putting their hat on.

it was the right trade if Cleveland wins the NBA this year, no matter what Love does.
it would be the one and only basketball championship they ever won. That is worth Wiggins.

I doubt Cleveland even won an ABA championship.
ABA big dogs:
Louisville (Gilmore), Long Island Nets (DR J!), Denver, San Antonio.
Did Carolina win one with Rick Barry?

Anyway, now is now and if Cleveland wins the NBA it will be amazing for them.

That's the thing he has the potential to be elite. Kevin Love IS Elite. Everyone was saying he was the best PF and borderline top 5 player until he turned into the #3 guy on the Cavs. Now everyone thinks he sucks dick.

Love is having struggles fitting into his role but once he gets used to it his numbers will go back up.

Right now he's at a measely 17\10 (OMG SO BADD). If he was shooting the percentages he was as last season he would be averaging 19-20 pts.

I get that Wiggins MIGHT be a superstar in 3+ years. but Love is an elite PF RIGHT NOW.

They could have had Lebron and Wiggins in their prime. Early Wiggins to help Lebron in his prime and a prime Wiggins to carry an aging Lebron. If Love bolts, it was a huge mistake.

Finally a voice of reason.

Omgzzz wiggins goat is getting old quick. I don't think he'll be a top 3 talent in the NBA at any point to be honest, and I do like his game.

BB03 must be in banland or something. These threads are like a bat signal for him to remind us that he staked his claim that Wiggins will be top 15 all time. Not that their styles are the same, but I think Wiggins will have a career like Chris Webber. Pretty damn good at his prime, but certainly not top 20 or anything like that.
