Ask Skillet where he lives...

Skillet is the person to see.

I think Skillet has a short leg with a shoe that has a 6 inch sole. He can point you in the right direction.

Families helping families of greater Baton Rouge is a good place to start, they will get you started with everything you need

I don't but there is a website dedicated to helping people find information. It's called www.google.com and all the kids are using it nowadays. Good luck, hope this helps.

Calling the local mental health center and/or Easter Seals will get you pointed in the right direction, regardless of the type of disability. Even if they aren't the ones who end up helping, they'll be able to answer your questions of who can.

I really appreciate all the responses

Families helping families really is the only response if you're stuck at square one with no direction.

If there is an option for in home care, OAAS can give you a list of all the service providers in your area for services needed. Some folks choose this route once they realize what is available.
