It's fun. Even when it's channeling it's inner Drake, I'm having a blast.

Well, it's been good minus this one section I'm on, but even this is more enjoyable than any gun fight I had on Uncharted. It kept building to what I thought was going to be the finale, which was disappointing, but it ended up not, so after a deep breath I was like "well that was crazy and a lot of fun".

Every time I've started it up the last few nights, I've been so tired that I'm lucky to get an hour in.

Just when you run across that one guy with glasses (who is obviously not on your side) and the entire temple catches on fire. So you're trying to keep up with Sam and fight this onslaught of enemies.


I got skeptical because of how pissed I got towards the end of UC2. I had just had enough of the constant crap, the game was no fun anymore. I don't mind action, but I want to explore at the same time, and UC just never lets you do that. I probably knee jerked with that part, and after I got through it, I was back on board. I'm in this open area now where there a ton of patrolling guards and I can see all of this hidden stuff, and the only way I can get to it is to stealth deal with these guys. I wish I could have stayed up to keep playing last night because I'm going to have a lot of fun now. Arrow kills to the head are so satisfying.

Just that sequence where she falls through the cockpit glass and grabs that parachute at the last second. WHATEVER!!!!!

I think these are fine and well done. I did do a tomb where I had to take these gas cans and put them at the end of this platform so I could use it to jump across to a cliff. Straight up Half Life 2 mechanic. I laughed.

Well, they did introduce one in UC2, though it was pretty light. I'd like it to be more akin to TLOU but it looks like they are doing that with UC4, like you said. That combat demo felt very TLOU-esque.

Yes. As we've talked about on here before, I really like being stealthy, then popping out and killing a few guys, and then having the enemies lose track of me again in a somewhat believable way.

After seeing that in the demo footage, I got interested. However, I do still wish it was a new IP. I love Nathan Drake and friends but I think UC3 wrapped up their relationships nicely.

I still haven't really played the Tomb Raider reboot. I borrowed it from a friend on 360 and played it for a few hours and enjoyed it alright. Then I sold my 360 and I gave it back. I've been tempted to pick up the "definitive edition" on PS4 a few times.
