I first saw you in Premiere Lac/Lac tete de Beouf. You moved to Lac aux Cygnes. I drove by in a bay boat in the canal and yelled. Whoever was in the front waived. This was a couple weeks ago.

Ahhhhh. I remember. I actually said, "That's a nice Xpress". Next time you see me, stop and we'll drink a beer!

The mild winter ruined my perch spots, so not sure when or if I'll be back. We did find a nice trick worm pattern though, so when it warms back up, I might bass fish one more time.

Looks to be a 39' Sea Vee and my guess would be auto pilot and not paying attention. With the open array radar on the t-top and assumption of top of the line electronics in a rig like that there are really no excuses for this to happen. The operator must have been sleeping or drunk off his arse although the report mentions alcohol not being a factor...
If owned a bar on the water I could never get lucky enough to get hit by a boat where the owner could fix my shite back up. Nope I would get hit by a smoking arse Vietnamese shrimper. He would just leave that stinky bastard right there in my to go line.

I've eaten at that place several times when I lived in Ruskin. Glad that never happened when I was there.

Why 4 outboards?

That's actually pretty common for boats that size which I believe someone said was 39 ft long. That is a lot of boat to be pushing around.

That part of the Florida coast the blue water is twice as far as normal. Equates to less time traveling and more time fishing. If you have lots of money it's no sweat.

I'd rather have 3 seven marine 557s

And to answer your question, because they can. That's a huge heavy boat. 1200 horses isn't outlandish.
