Grunting at the gym. Yay or nay?

Just got back from the gym. They have these 2 cops that I've seen in there a couple times. They talk work the entire time they're lifting and this one dude growls like a friggin wildebeest. I couldn't find my headphones today so I had to listen to it. It's not like he does it on forced reps either, he does it for like the last 5 or 6 on each set.
I think it's completely unnecessary and it makes you look like an idiot.

This is the vibe I get from these 2 dudes. They really aren't even in shape and 1 is chubby. They talk loud as frick and grunt loud as frick.

I rarely see them in there. I'm not gonna be the guy to tell them to cut it out. Makes me look like a bigger douche than them

My experience with cops at the gym most are dooches. I have had a cop though( I didn't know he was a cop) from the gym pull me over for an expired tag and recognize me and say get that shite fixed and get the hell out of here. No ticket so not all cops are dooches.

I get a slight noise on that last rep or so. Some people just do that and it is typically pretty quiet. The loud grunt makes you look like the "my new haircut" guy.
