Hello fellow Ob'ers,

I'm doing an AR15 buyer's guide series since we get the same questions a lot. Maybe this can be stickied in the future as I add videos. I'll add them when I can.

AR15 Buyer's Guide:
Barrel/BCG
Upper Receiver/Handguard
Optics
Lower/Stock/Trigger

Appreciate the helpful videos. I have a couple ar's, but I'm preparing to begin my first build. I actually bought two lowers so I'll build two at once. Can't wait for the next videos.

I kid. I have plenty and I don't mind donating to anyone either. I certainly don't mind giving away any to people that I know are using it to let kids shoot.

I actually did forget to mention chrome lining or melonite lining. But I think for a general buyer that stuff isn't all that important. Those really only matter for heavy use.

I'm building a 300 blackout sbr. All I have as of now is the lower. I'm looking at the Noveske 8.2" complete upper. That's as far as I've made it.

Recommendations on buffer tube, trigger group, and all that? I plan on using the jp silent capture spring. I really like my 2 stage Rock River trigger.

Anything milspec sized will give you the most options for stocks.

Sounds like you answered two of your own questions.

I'm pretty partial to having a QD endplate (Noveske or Magpul for example). Pretty inexpensive and convenient to have for when/if you get a sling.

These are great if you wish to run a single point sling. But for a two point sling it puts it directly on the cheekpad of your stock. Just something to consider.

I like single point slings, especially on a sbr. Thanks for the help fellas

I'm assuming I can throw the complete noveske upper on the other lower with a pistol buffer tube for the time being until my form 1 is sent back? I thought about trying out a different trigger group on the pistol just to try something different.

Sorry for the hijack.

Informative, professional, and concise... Keep it up!

I'll be tuned in, as usual, for the rest.

Building my first AR soon, so I like the timing
