Helluva broad question....trinity hitting a dark roux is one. The smell of rising dough is another.

No doubt when the trinity goes in anything.

Hard to beat the smell of bacon.

I cook my steaks in the garage during the winter. That fricker smells like a 4 star steakhouse.
