not really concerned about travel distances...Uber can handle it. no specific cuisine...... no restrictions.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I've only been here for about 3 weeks but I can tell you both Bocado and JCT Kitchen are top notch. They're not a far ride from Buckhead and if you're solo they both have good bars you can sit at and dine.

If you really want to take a ride go out to Decatur and hit Kimball House. It's fantastic.

Last time I was there, we went to The Spence and JCT Kitchen.

Gu's Bistro is awesome. Gunshow is good and massively popular. JCT Kitchen, Holeman & Finch, Cakes & Ale, and restaurant Eugene also all good choices.

Gunshow

Not in Buckhead though.

An out of the box dining experience that is worth the extra bucks IMHO.

If you want a good burger and a good beer selection, this is the answer.

If you're looking for something casual or quick, Farm Burger is outstanding and probably within walking distance of your hotel. Best burgers in town if I had to rank them.

Chops is good.

Another place if it is 4 or 5 guys, Bones is a good "guy" place (lots of steak, wood and leather).

Then it is a 5 minute drive to Prohibition. 20's style speakeasy with classic cocktails and cigars.

Another good place is Woodfire Grill. It's the farm to table idea and they list their vendors. The menus change daily and it was excellent both times I went.

Woodfire Grill

R2R, this is a place you might want to try as well.

Fish Thyme is about 25 miles away, but it is awesome. Big seafood menu and they do it right. They must have some ties to Louisiana.

I am sure it's good, and from their website it looks like a great place.

BUT it's in Acworth, which is 40 minutes from Buckhead without traffic. If you are going for dinner, add an extra half hour for the I-75 north traffic.

I doubt Uber goes out that far. In a metro area of 6 million you don't have to go 1/4 of the way to Chattanooga for a great meal.

holeman and finch, Bones, King and Duke, St. Cecilia, Bitro Niko are all viable Buckhead options. Probably can walk to them depending on hotel

go to IKEA and eat free swedish meatballs (and get a free cinnamin roll) as long as you walk out with a $10 end table.
