I say if we win 3 out of final 4 games and at least one at SECs we'll be a lock

Especially if 1 of the 3 is Hey Pig.

if we can't finish 3-1 knowing we need to win to get in, I have no problem with us being left out, it's all right there for us to take at the moment.

Even if we do everything we are "supposed to" from here on out and dont get in, I wont complain. Not making the tourney for us falls on the multiple bad losses earlier. Simple as that.

Auburn is a must win tomorrow. We can't afford another bad loss

Win the next three games, and we are in. Even if we lose to Arky. A loss in the first round of the tourney would have us sweating. Most likely knock LSU to the play in game.

Lock is a strong word. If LSU wins the next 3 before heading to Ark they probably won't HAVE to win that game because one of those three wins would be against a good Ole Miss team. If LSU loses any of the next 3 games, then beating Ark probably becomes a "must"

A win in the first round of the SECT probably won't help much because LSU will likely be playing a weak opponent. A first round loss would obviously hurt.

Right now you've got 4 teams probably fighting for 3 spots (A&M, LSU, OM, UGA). All have valid reasons to put them in and all have valid reasons to keep them out.

I think the committee places more emphasis on who you beat vs. who you lose to. The wins against WVU, UMass, OM and UGA help in that regard. Add another against OM and you start to wash out some of the "bad" losses

The only thing that makes us an absolute lock at this point is beating UK.

Yea will be hard to complain if we don't get in even if we go 3-1. We would be squarely in the tourny if we didn't have losses to mizzou, state and auburn. we could even drop the ole miss and arky games this week if we didn't have those 3 losses and still be in. We can only blame ourselves for the position we are in.

Would be 22-5 right now and really looking at a great season if not for those 3 inexplicable losses. So frustrating.

yep, we really should be 23-4 considering we had a&m on the ropes twice. I can understand letting them escape once. 23-4 and probably a 4 seed or such considering we would be in second place in the sec.

Wow if we were to somehow get past SMU in round 1 (not very likely), Iowa State would absolutely skull drag us in round 2.

I just saw bracketology on CBSSPORTS.COM board with LSU as a 9 seed updated as of this morning. It seems they expect LSU not only to make it in but to be seeded higher than 11. Like many have said on this board, I would prefer LSU not fall into the 8-9 seeding and have to play a #1 the second game if they win the first. All wishful thoughts but if we get in I certainly would feel better not having to play Duke in the South region first weekend if we win game 1.

Beating Arkansas on the road trumps losing to Auburn. I think we need to go 3-1 regardless of who the loss is to, but if I had to pick beating Auburn or Arky, it would be Arky
