For the record, Westbrook was my preseason pick, but he does not deserve it over Harden right now.

If Westbrook keeps this up he'll deserve it but hands down Harden has been the MVP thus far.

He has zero chance of getting it this year. Ready for the band to break up so he can go be the top dog on another team. He isn't the most efficient player but he balls hard no doubt.

He has pretty much been surgically removed from the conversation.

Me too. Don't like the Pels(:ducks:) but damn AD is special. Was so ready to see how much noise he could make in the MVP voting down the stretch.

If it were a race, it'd be a few guys eating Harden's dust, hoping he slipped up.

Sorta bold prediction(maybe?): While still in his prime, Westbrook figures out how to pick his spots, ups his efficiency, and goes from being "the most athletic guy in the league," to the best basketball player in the league for a couple seasons.

That was a WAY underrated part of Lebron's game/growth. I don't know how he did it or who helped him, but what he did a few seasons ago was nothing short of showing the "want" for GOAT status.

Wasn't a great 3p shooter...so he picked a few spots where he knew he could maximize his % and only shot from there. Realized how insanely efficient he was at the rim, and fricking made sure he got there. He went from being a badass MVP to a MVP player who damn near didn't waste an ounce of energy or game time on inefficient play.

If Westbrook can take those steps like Lebron did, omgtnfirvejscjsv! I hope he does, because it's kinda annoying to see someone as amazing as him be so inefficient(at times).

Can't wait to see the spike in his assist numbers now that he can feed Kyle Singler the rock.

I mean, 21, 8, and 17 in 27 minutes is just an absurd stat line. I'm not sure he's as valuable as Harden or Steph right now. Still a ways to go though.

For a 7th seed playoff team? I don't think so.
