Dude...this is so unnecessary.

That wasn't the concept that was proposed, but then you already knew that when building your straw man.

Again, building strawmen. There is a difference between saying we are a worthy opponent and saying nobody is better than us. I don't think any team would look at the Pelicans as harmless. They have the 7th best record vs. teams in the West at 19-14, and when you consider 4 of those losses came to Utah, Denver, and Sacramento, I think the Pelicans give the top teams in the West at least a little bit of worry.

Your baseless, inflammatory claims are not welcome here. If you had said you didn't think the Pels could win a series against any West playoff team and then backed it up with a semi-professional scouting report talking about matchups and such, that would further the conversation. But building strawmen to put words in our mouths so you can troll us is not a path you should take lightly. I was against you being banned before, but I have to admit your absence was nice, because rather than bringing the substance you are capable of, you always choose to bring the inflammatory nonsense you posted here.

I do not think any team would like to play the Pelicans in the Playoffs. Our team is so up and down you would not know what team you are facing.

BC with the Pels are good they are usually really good, but when they are bad they are really bad.

But it is the West, nobody really wants to face each other in the playoffs because all of the teams in contention are good.

Just RA his crap and move on. You have to actually be capable of providing two sides to an argument to not be considered a troll. All he does is come in here and try to rile people up. It is baseless, inflammatory dribble.

Anybody think Loomis might be more empathetic to Demps, given he's also a GM?

Possible he has a more nuanced understanding of the way injuries etc, can affect your season, than an owner who just checks the standings at the end of the year.

Yeah

He also has to notice that he's made some great moves this season.

I found it interesting that Erin Hartigan just lead a segment talking about the impact of the recent Dell Demps acquisitions. I know Loomis isn't scripting the post game show, but I wonder if they are trying to sell Demps to fans? Also, I've seen some clarification on Demps contract on other sites this week. Next year is a team option for him, so it wouldn't cost anything to just let him go.

I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem like the fanbase has totally turned on Demps yet.

The Fire Demps cries have quieted. I'm not sure if it's because the roster is finally balanced when healthy, or Demps haters assume he's going to get fired so they don't care anymore.

I think many more people want Monty gone, than even know who Dell is. I have casual friends who are tired of Monty that don't have the slightest clue who the Pels GM is.

I don't think Dell has really fricked up anywhere. Asik might be the worst move he made but I don't think it was that bad. Our team just can't stay healthy. I don't remember the last time Gordon, Tyreke and Jrue were all healthy at the same time
