Hawthorne lol. Said it was 7.5. Never said between the legs. I was expecting to see a normal dunk. Wow that's impressive

Just goes to show the mindset of some of the players....to showboat. Florida had come back and LSU needed a bucket badly.
A dunk would have been fine. But to pass the ball through the legs was just plain dumb. Could have easily fricked up and lost the ball with no points.

I like it because it pumps the crowd up and changed the whole atmosphere of the game.
I dont like it because he couldve effed it up, and you know the gators are gonna be PISSED about it. Wouldnt be surprised if someone hard fouls him early in the second half

Did you not see the energy that dunk provided for our team and fans? We needed a spark and that was it.
And it's not like Martin has never done that and just decided to try it in the game. He knew he could do it so he did it. And he made it easy.

He probably didn't even know he went between the legs. Jim did well enough to let the listeners know LSU scored.

Now that I think about it, I don't think that's correct either. We beat them twice when they were highly ranked. The other time was when they were #1. I think they were #5 or maybe even #4 when we beat them that year. It was the best slam though.
