Any recommendations for gyms in BR? Not looking for anything over the top, preferably a month to month type deal.

I've been in a shitload of gyms around the U.S. and the LA Fitness gym I worked out in was the best of the bunch.

LA fitness. I think if you enroll right now there's no enrollment fee. Pay first and last month's dues then they draft your account for every month you go in between
On another note I've heard bad things about max fitness I'm regards to the difficulty of ending your membership over there.

Red's is one of the best gyms in the Southeast. It's a remarkable gym. Honestly, nothing really compares to Red's here in Baton Rouge.

Haven't had any problems at spectrum. Real nice locker/sauna/steam room at the one on perkins

No contract. Pay 1st and last month and cancel whenever you want.
I was going to one in Kennesaw and it was about $35/mon.
