Proven in The Dark World.
True or false?

False. Loki only loves Loki.

False.
Did you watch the entire movie?

I did. He did "seize" Asgard, but he did allow Thor to keep his hammer and go to protect the 9 realms.

SPOILERS
He allowed him to leave while posing as Odin. That could be construed as an attempt to make sure he is away from Asgard so he can solidify his rule.
Thor is one of the few people who can stop him.
I saw no love or benevolence in his actions.

I would propose Loki's actions on Svardheim were selfless and an indication of love.

his actions were purely so he could sneak back into Asgard to take over which will let him eventually give Thanos the Infinity Gauntlet and Tesseract that are in the vault.

the opposite of your statement is true...Thor loves Loki like a brother, and that is Thor's one true weakness

Or it's his greatest strength...

frick no. I think he might could have, but finding out he's not his biological father kind of tricked that up. He's a lunatic now.

Cain loved Abel like a brother too. Just saying...

But that doesn't mean he'll put Thor above his need of power.

Deep down I want to believe he does and think he'll sacrifice himself to save the avengers or just Thor.

This reminds me of a question I have. With Loki posing as Odin at the end, where is Odin?
Posted on 2/21/15 at 10:41 am to PsychTiger
Imprisoned most likely.

Hopefully they explain it in the next movie, because they sure didn't in the last one.
