It just seems photoshopped. If this was real, it would be very dangerous and deadly if a cave in happened

I've seen 10-12 foot plowed drives in Vermont. 25 feet seems a bit of a stretch but maybe so.

Not unusual. I've seen Thompson Pass like that. Valdez gets 30' a year on the average.

Snow canyon roads in Japan

These are Japanese mountains 300 meters above the sea level. Winter here lasts from November to April with the snow layer at times reaching 20 meters. A lot of tourists travel to see this.

Vanilla Lake courses in Super Mario Kart were the worst. Those little ice blocks that made a "clink" noise when you hit them sucked.

I've driven through snow walls like that up at Mt. Baker before. They had like 97 feet of snow one year which set the world record. The snow was so deep that they had to dig a canyon for the ski lifts and you could look up at people skiing above you while you were on the ski lift.

It's obviously fake; only seems real to folks who haven't ever see or don't understand how snow plows work.

Think about it: the plows have to have some place to throw the snow. In real life, there are snow banks from plowing operations on either side of the road - not some pristine 'tunnel', as depicted. A plow wouldn't even be able to throw the snow high enough to clear such heights as shown in these photos. Plus: why are there little trees on top of all that snow? Wouldn't they have been buried? (Think.)

If there were such snow accumulation totals, the road surface would just keep rising on a bed of snow to accommodate the throw clearance of plowing operations.

Come on up to snow country and you will see what I'm talking about. The problem we're having up here is that we're running out of places to put the snow.

We're about to get 12-16" of snow today in Colorado. Way too much for someone who had didn't his entire life, until recently, in the south. And when I saw that picture, I thought the same thing, where's the plowed snow. The link above said something about robots, but the video is dead. I'd say maybe snow blowers, but I still don't see any piled up snow. It looks pristine on top.

Mt. Baker

We were up there in late July in 2013 and the snow was still 15 feet deep at the restroom at the top parking lot. It looked a lot like the original photo, not as deep, but this was July. About half the trails were still closed. Gorgeous place, especially the view of Mt. Shuksan.

A couple things:

1. It's real and there are videos on YouTube.
2. They don't use a snow plow.
3. Those are clearly the tops of trees.
