Former four-term governor Edwin Edwards is pursing his real estate broker's license. The 87-year-old says he practiced a bit of real estate before but his license has been inactive and he has to renew it.

quote:

Edwards doesn't envision a pursuit in politics because of his age and the current political atmosphere.

"The nation and the states has turned very heavy Republican and it doesn't mesh with my populous view of having government take care of people," said Edwards.

He says he sees opportunities in real estate because of new development in the state.

"There's a great deal of development going on between Lake Charles and Slidell and I-10 and I-12 and along the river between Baton Rouge and New Orleans," said Edwards.

Yeah, frick the political discourse that won't elect a felon convicted of crimes he committed while in office.

What a self-righteous dickwad.

Exactly this. It just blows my mind that he got so many votes last election. some dude at work I generally consider to be a decent dude said he was going to vote for him until I talked him out of it.

I don't see a bunch of interstate coridor property all of the sudden coming on the market with him as the agent or broker. If I own a few acres along the route the last person I'm calling to help sell is lying Edwin.

That old fricker is hiding his own Easter eggs. frick him.

Let me just edit to be clear: that crooked piece of shite cannot die fast enough for me.

So how long til his broad leaves? Now that he's not pursuing politics anymore, you gotta wonder.

Yes but that isn't going to happen his time has come and gone. He's a dinasour and certainly way beyond his relevant life span.

But he is a hustler and this is a way for him to try to gin up some cash because he doesn't have much to live on.

I would never buy a piece of land for him, but I would let him sell some for me. The man found a way for people to fight over catfishtown.

Paying him a commision would be hard for me to stomach.

A friend of mine's dad was parish president during his terms. The stories are definitely entertaining.

Written on the wall of a port o can in I guess mid 80's.

I have fricked in England and I have fricked in France.

I have fricked by choice and I have fricked by chance.

But I will not be happy and I will not be free

Until I frick Edwin Edwards-like that bastard fricked me.

I just hope I outlive the degenerate frick. He single handedly put this state 40 years behind where it should be and I have grown up with this. I would not piss on that fricking a-hole if he was on fire. Or his latest gold digging bitch who is about 30 years late. He will die a broke dick and it can't happen fast enough.

I gave up my dignity for lent.

EWE was a genius who used his gifts solely for himself not the people or the State.

I wish he would just retire and go away.

Set the new season down here, and add EE to the team - I'd watch him hustle and outsell these gheys.
