This time last year I was paying $54 a month. Last fall they increased my bill to $62 a month. I just paid my bill this morning and realized it has gone to $66 a month.

I finally decided not to take Jupiter's cock up my arse anymore and call to see why my bill keeps going up with no noticeable change in service. Well, the lady told me on the phone that it was just a rate increase. I told her that I received two rate increases in the past 6 months, and what extra services am I getting for that? She stayed on script and just said it was a rate increase and offered me $5 off my bill for the next year. I took it like a whore, but I'm gonna be shopping for a new provider soon. Is U verse any good. Is that my only alternative. I'm done with Cox.

Called last week to see if I was under contract or under any obligation to keep their service. Guy said no so I had Verizon come out and install Fios.

Called back and those motherfrickers are now saying I owe $80 bc I was under a price lock agreement.

If you read your bill, they actually let you know a month in advance of rate increases.

Guess they're creeping up because so many are dumping their crappy TV service for streaming.

I called and talked to them about those increases - I told them I was willing to pay 100$ total for all of my services and they applied discount after discount until the bill was 99.07/mo

The remotes on our Cox cable boxes all started capping out.

Wife called Cox about it on Tuesday...new remotes were delivered on Thursday.

For those that haven't seen it, go on YouTube and search John Oliver on Net Neutrality. It explains a lot on why cable companies frick everybody over and get away with it.

They are passing the loss of revenue from my house on to you. I dumped them for U-Verse last week. I highly recommend you do the same, their internet speed is the tits.

Unfortunately, my street in Southdowns BR doesn't have u-verse yet. Although almost every street around me does, I do not. Really ticks me off.

Stuck with the bastards for a little longer.

I have never seen a provider with no complaints but since I have started paying for my own cable since I left for college in 1993, U-verse has been my favorite so far (about 7 months in).

On the contrary, Direct TV was by far the worst.

U verse is going to be short lived. AT&T is about to buy out a satellite company. This fiber optic shite is getting too expensive for them.

Uverse is great if you live in an area that offers the full Uverse internet. Uverse is crap if you're in an area, like mine where you can only get 5 mbps. I had Uverse for a year at my last apartment and loved it. It was only $30/month for all the speed I needed and more, and it always worked. In the entire year, it never slowed down or stopped working a single time. Customer service was crap, but the product itself was top notch. Cox is crap.

EATEL is the GOAT!!!
