Gameday Transportation from New Orleans

Hello All,
1. Sorry if this is the wrong board for this.
2. A few buddies and I are going to be traveling into the area (first timers) this fall, and are planning on going to a game up in Baton Rouge. Is there gameday transportation between N.O. and B.R.? I'd have to assume there is, but just want to confirm. Is it something that is scheduled closer to gameday, etc.? I'm guessing alumni groups and/or alumni bars provide this?

Public transportation in Louisiana is a joke. Rent a car. Be sure it has a working GPS.

what gray tiger said and come back in late August to posed this question - you will find more info then - right now we (TIGER fans) are building some type of hanging scaffolding for our baseball coach and naturally Les for losing a future All American (Heisman trophy winner) MVP of several super bowl high school qb.

Most of the alumni groups have transportation and some local bars do as well. For example Chimes in Covington, LA has a great package deal for game day but you'd have to get across the causeway first. Check with the NOLA Tigers to see if any local restaurants or bars do the same thing.

Check periodically in August with www.crescentcitytigers.com (Alumni group in New Orleans). In the past I believe they have organized bus trips to games.

Your best best is probably Limousine Livery from NOLA. Not many options when it come to Gameday travel from NOLA to BR and back.
