Breaking Bad rewatch - Season 1 Episode 7, No More Psuedo!

I started rewatching BB leading up to Better Call Saul, and I just finished the episode where Tuco is introduced, and Walt shaves his head and becomes Heisenberg.
This has to be one of the best episodes ever, starts out with a flash forward to Walt, bald, walking out of Tuco's compound with a bloody bag full of money in tow after exploding the entire floor and gaining respect of Tuco, whose intro was amazing.
How awesome and freaking scary is Tuco from the momemnt you see him on screen?
There are so many things in this episode I've noticed now after this being a rewatch after the conclusion that are just amazing. Hank says to Walt at the poker table, "you hiding something?" , Walt going "all in" and the symbolism that at that moment you know he commits to this lifestyle, the entire poker game and the symbolism of Walt bluffing the whole time, Hank having the best hand, and Walt ultimately winning, much to Hank's surprise, to the entire walt-into-heisenberg moment and the entire Walt-Tuco meeting.
Vince Gilligan is a genius and I cant wait to continue to see how Better Call Saul plays out.
I think I'm gonna update this thread as I watch so we can have a discussion on stuff and how it may tie to BSC and just awesome things to talk about each episode now that its over (and starting again if you count BCS)

That was a great episode. However, it might not even be in the top 10 of Breaking Bad episodes. I envy you getting to watch it all from the beginning.

I would follow this thread if you kept updating. What a good episode, but scary enough it really wasn't a "top 10" episode of BB.

So just got through the first season finale and...
-So many references to Walt doing illegal stuff, at this point I'm wondering how Hank and Skylar didn't deduce he was the one that stole the lab equipment after Hugo got ruled out.
Skylar: "And why was it so damn good?"
Walt (after fingering Skylar in the DEA/School meeting and sexing her in the car in the parking lot): "Because it was illegal"
After smoking the Cuban cigar with Hank.
W: "I thought these were illegal"
H: "Yea well some of the best things are forbidden fruit"
W: "Where do you draw that line? I wonder what will be illegal next year?"
At this point in the show, Walt has (very uncharacteristically) asked Hank to go on a meth lab bust, and even asked to go see the lab after they busted it. He has asked Hank how much money a meth bust yields, and finally, is obviously doing shady things and lying, leading to a whole bunch of meth cooking equipment that only 4-5 people total have access to.
I know there wouldnt be a series if Hank figured it out this fast but it just seems that Hank, with his DEA experience, even though he thinks Walt is a nerd, etc...just seems pretty obvious already that he should at least suspect Walt if you connect the dots.
Intresting show notes from the Season 1 finale
-The whole junkyard scene: Jessie: "This is where a non criminal would meet for a drug deal" "How bout Taco Cabana, 90% of my deals go down there........or what about the mall?"
Tuco (after arriving): "Why are we out here...is the mall closed?"
To me, the entire show in a nutshell.... Walt writes down the meth cooking list like a shopping list on flowery notepad and gives it to Jesse.
The whole methlyamine heist
