Why would you care? If you two can carry on a decent conversation, you're good to go.

Very. And it's not education like "She has to have a college degree". She has to be an intelligent woman who can carry on a conversation about important matters.

Depends, girl I date only has a 2 year degree and has been working for one of the oil companies since 18 and makes about the same as I do. They pay very well for loyalty

It depends.

Is she a drop-out that went on to become a successful entrepreneur? Or is she just sort of floating along looking for that sugar daddy?

Is she well-read and can speak intelligently on a lot of topics? Or is she a dolt?

Never say never, but I don't think I'd get serious with someone who didn't have at least a bachelor's degree.

It cause me to wonder about their goals in life and/or work ethic. But if you are deeply in love with the person. I wouldn't end things with them because of their educational level.

Sidenote, while you are attending graduate school. You might run into a situation where you find someone who is more on your level as far as intellect goes. That could cause problems.

Right. I certainly care about intelligence but I don't care about level of educational attainment.

What if she was an RN? Many RNs don't have a bachelor's degree.

Agree with this entirely. A huge turnoff for me is when a female has the inability to carry on a conversation.

I would never date a girl that didn't go to college. Never.

Educational attainment isn't nearly as important as a comparable level of intelligence. I don't assume that a high school P.E. teacher is smarter than an engineer because he/she has a master's degree.

Granted though....many hospitals are following the trend of making all their RNs have their BSN. I'll be finally getting my BSN soon so I can keep my job.

Point is....you don't have to have a degree to have some intelligence and ability to carry an intelligent conversation. And sometimes those with degrees you would never guess they had one cause they sound like morons when you try to talk to them.

This might be one of the most superficial threads I have read on this site.

It's more of a social class thing than an intelligence thing, for me at least.
