Does it really matter anymore? All of them are fast.

I flip between Chrome and Firefox.

I use chrome for 99.9% of browsing. Honestly, the only reason I switched from Firefox was because in early 2014 I was crypto-mining using all of my GPUs, and while those were in full use, Firefox would produce artifacts when scrolling, but Chrome did not. So I migrated all of my bookmarks and redownloaded my favorite extensions on Chrome. And now that I have an android phone with all the Google integration and whatnot, I'll probably just stick with Chrome.

Chrome is less memory efficient (but for a reason), but other than that there aren't many differences.

Most popular (not necessarily best): LINK

Not sure how you'd define "best". I'm a Chrome head but tried Firefox the other day. I was impressed with the speed and general look and feel.

I still shake my head at major institutions that require the use of IE to register or complete forms.

I switched from Chrome to Firefox. Chrome kept crashing.

FF has been running great, however just recently my computer will give me the "spins" and not respond for 30 seconds or so while in FF, but it later works itself out.

Really cool link. I love Chrome but it is interesting to see it hasn't lost steam in continuing to increase it's reach in the browser war.

I was having mysterious "events" in which Chrome would loose many of my bookmarks and duplicate others. This went on for about 6 months or so - randomly. The Chrome peeps even acknowledged it was a known error. About once every 2 weeks. Like so many of these anomalies, it worked it self out, but since then, I've gotten in to the habit of exporting my bookmarks to a safe place in case I have to reload them.

Windows 7-Chrome
Android tablet-Dolphin
SP3-IE 11 Metro version
Windows phone-IE mobile version

I still mostly use Chrome.

Once in a while I still try IE, Firefox & Opera. I don't specifically dislike them, but don't like them enough to continue using them. And I've had some minor rendering issues with Opera in the past... not sure if that's improved with time.

Sometime last year, I think during the course of trying to deal with videos frequently crashing in Chrome, I stumbled across Maxthon broswer. Supposedly uses both Chrome and IE rendering engines. (not sure what exactly that means... guessing it means based on the website content (html5, javascript, flash, etc.) it picks the rendering engine it thinks will be best.) It's supposed to be one of the faster browsers... I do think it's a little quicker than Chrome. And it is supposed to be less likely to crash during videos (one of the main reasons I got it to begin with). I still only use it rarely, so wouldn't flat out say I like it better than Chrome, but I think I like it better than IE or Firefox at this point.

Chrome.

I really wish all of our applications at work would stop requiring IE.

On Mac, I really think that Safari is the best browser now that they added extensions. There aren't a ton of extensions for it yet but there are some great and useful ones out there.

On Windows, I use Chrome 100% of the time. It seems to do everything well and it is a close second on Mac for me.
