What's the price per pound,right now for live crawfish.

Well, last week the crawfish mafia said the waters have been too warm so prices would be going up. Now we're having a cold snap so that means they will go up. The truth is every Lent for my entire lifetime they raise the price then they fall back down right after Easter. You're looking at around $5 per lb right now.

It depends on if it's too hot or too cold or if the ground got to much water or if it didn't or if the farmer wiped his arse with two ply or three ply that day.


God help you on prices if there was traffic on the road from pond to wholesaler

I got them cooked two weekends ago for 5.50 lb not a horrible price but towards the bottom they got really small

Fisherman are getting about $2.50 per lb, selling live for $3 and boiled about $5 per lb in the Avoyelles/Evangeline parish area.
