Qatar 2022 in the winter is reportedly a done deal

Multiple sources say it's a done deal that World Cup 2022 will take place in November and December of 2022 in Qatar. A FIFA task force will meet in Doha next week and make that recommendation, and the FIFA Executive Committee is set to make the decision final at its meeting in Zurich next month.
The current plan is for only one European club season to be impacted schedule-wise, which the clubs are hoping to achieve by cutting some international dates. One key question is what to do about Confederations Cup the year before, but the big World Cup decision has been made. Set your calendars for November-December of 2022.

I need to go to a WC soon. Russia is a probability, but Qatar would be nice in the winter.

I honestly doubt that many countries will boycott the Russian WC.

When Brazil raped the taxpayers and provided no infrastructure improvement for WC, things will get political. When qatar is using Slave labor to construct stadia, things will get political.

Countries do what they can to afford the games. I sure as hell don't agree with what many of these countries have done to afford it, however in this day and age a lot is expected from a show of that magnitude.
Does that mean FIFA should only grant countries that wouldn't be financially burdened by a World Cup the opportunity? No.
