will there be no jews, blacks, gays, and or other minorities in this thread?

Rex once again accepted the invitation of Comus to attend his ball tonight. I always wonder if one year Rex will tell Comus to walk his arse across the street for once.

Actually, I really don't. Rex will always go to Comus.

I've never given the possibility any thought but now that you've expanded my horizons, I'm going to be disappointed on an annual basis when Rex doesn't rip the Comus page's invitation into confetti and toss it up in the air.

The Comus Queen is a little General's daughter.

A very rich and blue blooded General apparently but still...

so who the hell do they even let in Comus?

Comus isn't really getting new members. It's about the same 300 people that will keep the thing alive so long as their offspring keeps it up. To be in Comus you must be a member of the Pickwick Club which goes back to the 1860's

Rex is a social organization and parade. Comus is just a social organization with a lot of very old very welathy people. Some Rex memebrs are Comus members as well, but only a certain few.
