Depends on perspective.

Tell Tale's

haha, those words will set off a debate anywhere, anytime.

I happen to love Tell Tale's games, but I can also understand those who can't believe people like me love QTE-based decision games. I love their comic-like graphics, too. Feels like an interactive comic book and the stories are pretty great.

I mean I can understand bitching about how glitchy their games can be at times (I literally can't finish the GoT episode 2), but complaining about their graphics at this stage just seems like a waste of time.

It is their style. You don't have to play them if you don't like it.

Understand it? I applaud it. they should get way more shite than they already do for how poorly their games run.

I've played the same section of the latest episode of Game of Thrones game and it just quits at the end of the scene. I think I tried it like 5 different times, same result.

Personally I could be happy without any further graphic enhancements for a while if it meant better quality game play. I don't need a game to look like real life to enjoy it.
Agreed, but this seems to be what gets the people going.

I'm not expecting a big graphical leap any time soon. We're getting to a point of diminishing returns. Hopefully it results in some new ideas.

Respawn seemed to have a good idea on offloading resources in the cloud with Titanfall, but attempting to discuss that usually takes a bad turn here.

This is one reason I have landed on PS4 more lately. My PC is more powerful but the differences are so small that it's just easier to run on PS4 usually. I always do my research though in case one version runs poorly.

I was looking forward to seeing what that amounted to, whether it resulted in better enemy AI since the console could be worrying about other things, like rendering the game. This is a retread, but I was disappointed with the way all of that played out.

Same here. In most cases I'd rather play something while relaxing on my couch or in my bed, than sitting at my computer desk.

I haven't downloaded episode 2 of GOT yet...hope I don't have the same bug.

Graphics are important, but not that important. Watch Dogs recreated Chicago and it looks great, but the game play is crap.

Meanwhile, in another thread, I mentioned I still bust out Baldur's Gate (TOSC, 2, and Throne of Bhaal) and still enjoy the Hell out of those.

How do you handle things from your couch like moving your head to the side of the monitor to see if you can get a better angle to see (you know you have all done it.)

I typically realize after 2 seconds that what I'm doing is useless and stop.

Like jerking the controller up when trying to make a tough jump, because the accelerometers detect that and you jump a little higher, right? Riiiiight?

For me it depends on the game, my favorite genre is always RPGs so I definitely prefer my games to be on the longer side.

I don't mind other genres obviously, but I just feel like I wasted my time/$$ if it's less then 15 or so.
