Who else is working for a company with an ESOP?

Just started with a company back in September and we are guaranteed 25% of our yearly income added into our retirement ESOP. Feels too good to be true. I've never heard a company's contribution being that high. (3 years before fully vested)

I used to, I left after a year.
When I put in my 2 week notice they acted like leaving the ESOP would haunt me
