I recently was told by a close family friend of mine who goes to an online school to apply. I put my application in and had a great interview. Their children are very elite students, a little quirky, but good kids. The pay is phenomenal. Anyone have anything to add to this?

It seems to me these types of students who are paying high amounts for their schools just have much more home support and are thrust into more advanced climates. I am thinking about going into teaching online exclusively and leaving public school.

My GF was looking into this for her kid until she decided to send him to a local private school. Just from the informational material, some of them are very legit. I would look at one affiliated with a college. Stanford University has one, as do a few others. There's also one called The Laurel School that has a good reputation.

I am talking about Middle and High School. Grade 5-12 are the ones this school offers. They offer some awesome courses that I didn't see until college.
