All time? It would probably be in 10-20 range by games I enjoyed the most.

It was good, but nothing gameplay wise blew my mind or anything. The MP was fun, but if you played it with friends it was too easy and if you played it without friends it wasn't as fun.

If I were to rank this game, I'd definitely put it in my top 5. Maybe even 3rd. It's behind Earthbound and Chrono Trigger for me. I played it twice on PS3 and twice on PS4. Both times I played them back to back. I believe it's clunky-ness and flaws are intentional. You aren't some 20-something year old bad arse in excellent condition, you are this beat down middle-aged survivor. Just pop some PEDs and you're all set!

Every time I play this game, I feel so drawn in. It's a fantastic experience. I only have one complaint:

Why the hell doesn't Joel have a fricking knife???

I walked down the designated path the game allowed me to until Tess got shot up. I couldn't decide if I was supposed to give two shots about her or not, so after 30 more minutes I packed it up and gave it to a friend. Did I miss anything good?

I waited to post where it ranks for me because I wanted to give it due thought.

I would put it at three, only behind Harvest Moon and Suikoden 1
