looks like someone went up the Nicholson exit ramp and headon into traffic. Fatalities reported, so enjoy your morning commute.

What a fricking nightmare to crest the top of that thing and see headlights coming directly at you. I hope no innocent persons were among the casualties.

Jesus

Imagine getting off the exit ramp just like any other day and a car coming directly at you with no room to swerve

I was getting on the bridge going westbound late one night and as I came out of the curve, I saw a car going the opposite way in the far right lane and taking the 110 entrance ramp for the bridge. That was kinda scary but I often thought about what would happen if I was at that spot 1 minute earlier.

A few years ago a car full of drunks turned from 9th Street onto the I-110 exit ramp at North Street after the Spanish Town Mardi Gras parade. People were chasing them trying to flag them down but they just kept going. They did realize their mistake at the last minute and then had to back their way down the ramp.

I watched a truck do that on that ramp a few weeks ago at 8 in the morning as I was going downtown on Highland. I was about to lay on my horn to get his attention, but thankfully he figured it out quickly and started backing up.

It's a pretty stupid thing to do because you have to cross the double yellow lines on Highland Rd to get on the ramp, but there's not much signage there saying "wrong way" or "do not enter". I think therre was one sign on the left side, kinda turned at a funny angle. Not sure what the ramp looks like from the Nicholson side (it's the same exit ramp, just split at the bottom to go towards Highland or Nicholson).
