Cardio before or after hitting the weights?

Should I do cardio before or after I lift? Does it impact the effectiveness of lifting? I've always done cardio immediately after lifting.
Also, if I'm looking to cut some weight, what type of drink should I be drinking and when should I be drinking it?
TIA

90+ ounces of water a day. Water in-take is key.

IMO cardio should be done on a seperate day or at least a separate session from weight lifting.

Do it a different time of the day.

This, but if you must do it in the same session, do it after weights.

Does it matter if it's before or after?

Cardio in the morning (jog a mile or two around the neighborhood) and lift weights in the afternoon after work. You'll feel great all day and lose fat while building lean muscle.
Doing both at the same time, limits the benefits you derive from both types of exercise

Whatever your schedule allows for.

Doing cardio after lifting is ideal.

I like to get nice and sweaty before I get on the bench.

The best part about cardio is when you decide to go do squats instead. #squats

I rather lift in the morning before work (gym is less crowded) and then run in the afternoon / evening. Breaking it up that way might help. Since I'm trying to drop weight, I'll end the shakes and just go with gatorade / water.

I don't neglect leg day.

if losing weight is the priority, do your cardio immediately before weight training.

I'm not big on cardio, I normally do a few miles on the bike as a warm up and if I have time end with a few more miles.
I'd rather eat a bullet than get on a treadmill.

30min of cardio after a 40 minute weight session... Rest every 3 days.
