You're clearly not concerned about being the best poster.

TCU is quickly becoming my favorite team outside of LSU for this reason. They're grabbing what's left every year and are hitting the jackpot on a regular basis. Speaks to the great talent level in this state.

This needs to be qualified. The quality prospects LA produces are not distributed among all positions in proportion to requirements for a championship contending team.

You can sign 10 5* athletes that can play db or wr in college and have a top ranked class. Doesn't mean you will win shite. Not enough quality at all positions across the board in LA to compete for championships.

Sometimes we have to look elsewhere. And that usually means a very good player goes to another school because he isn't at a position of need.

see your point but MLB play didn't "make or break" the 2013-14 teams.

I don't know. One of kevin minter or Reid in 2013 could have been the diff in 1 loss versus 3 losses.

You may be correct about that but the bottomline is if you win on signing day it translates into winning in January. See Alabama and their record in the Saban era.

Having Reid may have meant a Georgia win and Minter may have won against Ole Miss.

But unless we had both, I think Auburn still wins the West that year.
