Just saw on Twitter. They need someone to get them scoring and he might be the man. Benteke and Weidman certainly have the quality to score goals.

it will be interesting to see if he can keep them up. guy seemed like a self-absorbed prick who was in way over his head at spurs, seems more cut out to be a 'head coach' in the championship.

i like villa though so i hope he keeps them up and does well

God I hate Sherwood. And I hate the stat that he has the best winning percentage ever for a Spurs manager. Horrible tactics.

I do give him lots if credit for calling up Bentaleb though. Gave him lots of experience. And now Bentaleb and Mason make one of the best young midfield pairings in the Premier League. Bentaleb was named to the AFCON tournament team.

He got Adebayor scoring maybe he can do so with Benteke. I want to see Villa stay up as well and also agree long term he's probably not right.

What Sherwood did with Adebayor was great for sure. And Benteke is a much more quality player at this point in his career.

How many other "young midfield pairings" are there?

I almost didn't include the word "young." That midfield made Arsenal its bitch quite recently.
