Have a craving for crawfish but I live in Dallas. I'm also coonass so I want something that tastes good. Anyone know of any places that sell boiled crawfish this time of year?

Dodie's on greenville might be your best bet
when you say Dallas, i assume that you mean Dallas...not Plano or Frisco or The Colony, etc.

Half Shales in Snider Plaza (Highland Park) has some good ones. They do season after the boil but they still taste good. TJs Seafood also has some good ones and sells live ones for your own boil.

not dodies in frisco. it's garbage and overcooked.
the boiling pots in plano is pretty good. not as spicy as I like it and can be heavy on the garlic, but they're good.
razzoos cooks them perfectly, but does the post boil seasoning that I'm not a fan of.

the owner is from laffy I believe, so there's some spice to them. they have solid fried platters too.

Oh, they are not cheap. But they have to charge a lot to make the Park Cities Royalty feel good about their purchase.

Nates in Addison has good crawfish
so does Rockfish, Razzoos, and Half Shells
Shuck and Jive has some good ones too
call around and get a good price, I aint paying $7.99/$8.99 a lb. I know dodies in allen has them for $5.99 a lb on Wednesday nights, that's not awful

I haven't been back to Nate's in a while. They would sprinkle the seasoning on the outside. Wife and I didn't like them that way.
There is a new place called Mix in the shopping center on the northwest corner of Lebanon and the North Dallas Toll Way. The have a sign on the front that says something like "Live Boiled Crawfish". The wife and I were going to try it out tonight but we got recruited to babysit the grand kids. I hope to try it soon.
I haven't had any this year but Dodies used to do a pretty good job.
