What kind of underwear do you wear while working out?

I have tried several types of different compression shorts, but my privates (due to having excessive girth) get all jumbled up and start to bulge out everywhere.

Usually I'm ok while doing basic standing things such as curls, shoulder press, etc. But when I attempt to squat, deadlift, or do inclined core work, all my stuff goes in every direction. Nothing stays in place. It is embarrassing and I have to reach my hand down into my pants nonchalantly and readjust everything to its proper ways. Playing basketball can be the worst!!

I haven't worn any tighty-whities since elementary, but maybe something like that might work. Anyone else have this issue? Can anyone suggest a good brand of underwear that might help keep everything in check?

I hate working out without the compression shorts.

Brand doesn't really matter to me. The nike/UA ones are more durable but I don't notice a big difference in quality between those and the walmart brand

Everyone will say compression this and that, but they put my twig and berries in weird spots and the sweat just runs down your leg. Fruit of the Loom boxer briefs.

I actually bought those exact ones off of Amazon. They're ok (very comfortable), but it's inevitable that everything goes in every different direction every time I lay down (ie: bench press). They're cheaper (why I bought them), so the support just isn't there. I'm thinking about buying another same pair for work, due to their comfort, breathability, and price.

Military style PT shorts with the nylon lining. Keeps your junk in place, but not too in place like the compression does.

None.
Only way I know I have done a full squat is when my junk scrapes the ground.

That sounds good in theory but when I tried it I didn't get anywhere near parallel.

I only needed to squat about 10 inches and I just wasn't getting a good workout.

Boxer briefs to work out, boxers for everything else, free ball post-sex though.
Compression shorts are just too tight on my package, I need some dedicated twig and berries room

I wear boxer briefs to workout and I usually only wear compression if I'm running.
