AL East - Toronto. This is the year they finally break through. Baltimore lozing Cruz hurts and you know Davis won't be the same. Joe Maddon had a lot to do with the Rays success. Yankees are in rebuild mode even if they don't want to admit it. Boston is still garbage, 2013 was a fluke.

AL Central - Detroit. I don't see Kansas City being able to challenge like last year. Minnesota still sucks. Chicago White Sox are not good. Cleveland is the only other team that can challenge but they don't have enough.

AL West - Seattle. A surprise team this year, but they have the pitching and this year they will have just enough offense to get it done.

NL East - Miami. If Fernandez stays healthy this is their year.

NL Central - St. Louis. As much as I hate them, I don't see any other contenders in this division other than Pittsburgh and St. Louis is just better

NL West - Dodgers. Giants are due for an off year, Rockies still have no pitching, don't believe the Padres hype(they are like the Blue Jays a couple years ago), and Diamondbacks still suck.

You guys are higher on the Cubs than I am. I see another 90+ loss season for them.

Their pitching is still a decently sized question mark

The Marlins are gonna be pretty good. I think they can make a run at the East

You're an idiot, which is obviously really well known on the MSB. The Cubs didn't even lose 90 games last season and they added one of the best managers in baseball and a front of the rotation ace to go along with all of the young talent that should be coming to the show this year. They were a .500 team last year after the first like month and a half of the season and that includes the time AFTER losing their best 2 starting pitchers.

They are just a National League version of the 2011-2013 Mariners teams in a more hitter friendly park. They have a lot of young promising position players but I don't expect them to all deliver offensively.

The Mariners those years always had good pitching and we kept hearing how these promising young position player prospects would finally help them get the offense they need but they never delivered.

Not really.

They have a top 10 bullpen in baseball and added Jason Motte to the mix. The Cubs have been incredible with turning pitcher's careers around under Chris Bosio. Without Jason Motte, the Cubs still have a top 10 bullpen.

They added Jon Lester and Jason Hammel to go along with Jake Arrieta. That is a pretty damn strong 1-2-3 punch.

Kyle Hendricks won more than half of his starts last season. Travis Wood had a rough year last year, but was very good the year before, especially if you are only counting him as the 4-5 pitcher.

Pitching isn't what I would consider a "decent sized question mark". If they had another SP at the level of Arrieta, they would have an incredible pitching staff.

Thanks for confirming that my statement was correct. I already knew it was.

Anyone that thinks the Cubs will be WORSE this season than last season hasn't been paying attention to anything.
