Alternate title: The 2015 Non-GS Tennis Gambling Thread

But I guess not all of us tennis fans are degenerates.

But I proudly am.

Anyway, we've got three 250 level tournaments going on right now. Memphis and Rotterdam, which are indoor hard courts, and Sao Paulo, which are indoor clay.

So far on the day I'm 1-1. I hit on Gilles Simon at -170. I missed on Seppi+5 against Berdych (he lost by six games). Fortunately I had more on Gilles than Seppi.

I've got Kudla at +115 against Donald Young. And I've also got a tiny sprinkle on Raonic at -465. I can't stand Raonic as a player, but he's mad consistent. I bet on him quite a bit and he rarely lets me down. The odda are a bit high, but my play is to win just a quarter, so no biggun if I lose. And I won't lose because these are the types of matches Raonic doesn't lose.

The ultime guy to bet on was Ferrer about 2-3 years ago. The guy would never lose to a guy he was supposed to beat and never beat a guy he was supposed to lose to. Raonic is kinda the same way.

Donald Young playing his best tennis right now as he's in the finals of Del ray Beach.

Nadal also loses first semi final match on clay in 12 years against Fabiola Faginni.

Fed with a big win over Djoker today in Dubai. While Fed and Djoker were battling it out in Dubai getting ready for Indian Wells and Miami, Rafa's down in Argentina playing on clay against total scrubs to get ready for the clay court season.

Going to Indian Wells next month. I feel like a loser for flying across the country to see a non-major, but family wanted me to go and is paying for it.

Indian Wells is known as the "5th Grand Slam" Definitely on my bucket list of tennis tournaments to take in. As I understand it, the fans are able to get really close to the pros throughout the touraments and have close access to the practice courts. It's also the one tournament where most of the top singles players also play doubles. I'd also rather take in Indian Wells than the US Open.

If Fish beats Harrison, after Fish has been gone for like 2 years trying to recover from being a loon, then Harrison should just hang it up.

Miami starts this week. Looks like Djoker is the clear favorite to win back to back Indian Wells/Miami for the second year in a row.

Would have been nice to see Fed play Miami since he has been playing so well of late.

I thought Nadal played pretty well last week at IW, just simply got overpowered by Roanic's serving. He's finding his form at the right time with clay court season upon us...however, as usual, he comes into this tournament dealing with a "pre-tournament" injury as he rolled his ankle in practice earlier this week. I think he's really the only one in the draw who could upset Djoker.

Can't blame Federer for sitting a tournament out as long as he's been on tour. He needs to make sure he's healthy for the grand slams.

Nadal has the same number of losses so far this year as he did in all of his incredible 2013 season. I don't think we're ever seeing that Rafa again.

That's concerning for him. Regardless of his current form he always came in and dominated April and may.

Rafa is 28. Usual age when top level tennis players start decline for whatever the reason may be. For Rafa, clearly its injuries. But his style of play and retrieving every ball at the wall by the ball boys would have a tendency to put a lot of wear and tear on one's body.

Andujar pulls the upset over Ferrer in the semis today.

Looks like back to back Barcelona titles for Nishikori, who will pass Rafa and move back up to #4 in the rankings.

Rafa has title points to defend @ Madrid and finalist points to defend @ Rome. Gonna need results to secure a top 4 seed at the French.

Pretty good quarters in the Madrid Masters tournament today, which is the second to last big tuneup for the French. Rome is next week. The schedule for today is Nadal/Dimitrov, Isner/Berdych, Raonic/Murray, Ferrer/Nishikori.

Serena and Maria got knocked out in the semis this morning. Serena's first loss since last year I believe.

Nadal beat Berdych in straight sets in Madrid and Murray just did the same to Nishikori. Final set for 1:00 eastern tomorrow afternoon.
