If there's one thing I've learned from the DC hire, it's that no one on here(or local writers and "insiders" for that matter) knows a fricking thing.

In the media's defense, Kevin Steele was pretty much the first name to come up. The slow timing of it caused further speculation, but a lot of the writers had it right from the beginning.

We really need to make a succession plan with Raymond and the DC position. That's a guy we don't want to lose. Way too talented of a coach to stay satisfied to be at DB coach for long

Ditto. Also, one of those Georgia recruits referred to him being already gone. They were not happy at all. Their language was like it's already happened.

If true, I think it's a another very good hire.
