iPhone dictation

A couple of days ago I was able to click the mic button on my iPhone and dictate my TD posts.
Now it doesn't come on. The icon is light gray. I don't recall changing any settings. How do I get my dictation back?

Go to Settings>General>Keyboard and make sure Dictation is enabled at the bottom.
If it is, your keyboard could be flaking out on you. If you close out the last app that you were in that should fix it.

iphone 6* definitely seems to have a keyboard problem. mine has some weird quirks with the keyboard.
