Please expand on this curse. I mean, 3 players since 2000 were offered by lsu and went somewhere else. 2 to usc and one to ucla. Is the curse that we get everyone we want from there?

Some of you fail to understand the draw of playing somewhere other than you grew up. When I was applying to colleges, I was accepted across the country (including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Texas). All of those enthralled me. Not going to LSU was my desire. Somehow I ended up deciding to stay home, but to a graduating high school student, the opportunity to go somewhere other than you backyard was awesome. I couldn't imagine the draw of leaving the state if you have scholarships being thrown at you, and I am a lifelong LSU fan.

Not everybody wants to play at LSU. Until you get over that fact these things will make you miserable.

Curse was the wrong word to use.
Everyone acting like nothing ever went on there between them and LSU is laughable.
Whatever it was seems to be repaired for the most part.
Just as some players don't want go to LSU, some players can't see themselves anywhere but LSU.
LSU is bigger than 1 recruit, and LSU is bigger than 1 HS.
That being said, it's a year away.....
Let the coaches do what they do.....

I assume you've never been to those towns. Austin is one thing. Athens isn't too bad. I would never, ever want to spend a week in Tuscalousy or Gainesville.
