I trimmed/deburred/chamfered about 500-600 cases this evening in about 45 minutes. Unbelievable speed and efficiency. I think I can load rifle faster than pistol now. Well, as long as I'm not having to swage 5.56 primer pockets...

Definitely not cheap at $460, but for any bulk shooter, this speeds up the process by a significant margin.

Do you want to shoot to load?

Or do you want to load to shoot?

The choice is yours and this definitely aids in achieving the latter.

Swage? Easier and faster to use a cutter with no chance of deforming the primer pocket. My RCBS swage die is collecting dust now.

I'm not too worried about deforming the pocket. And every time I used a primer pocket reamer I would either take out too much metal or too little metal. I hated it. The Swage die is quicker... at least for me it is. When the time comes maybe I'll upgrade to a better tool. Kinda dropped a lot of coin on a recent purchase...

Who do I look like? Some douche who buys awesome toys without typing an outline and showing off my hands?

... It'll be done soon enough. I'll start having outline withdrawals soon.

I just got a Lyman 6th gen digital powder scale last week. I think I would have to shoot a whole lot more to justify that fancy thing.

So how many times can you use spent casings? How do you keep track of how many times a casing has been used or do you bother? Just curious.

You def need to shoot bulk to justify the price. For a low volume reloader I wouldn't suggest it.

I don't own a 300 blk unfortunately. Will regular 5.56 ball do?

I used to keep track but realized I just end up using them until I see a cracked neck or shoulder. I can usually feel it in the resizing stage Then they get tossed.

I have one and need some ammo.

This depends on a ton of factors. Some brass is better than other and will last longer. Case necks will crack or primer pockets will get loose. Depends on caliber and load. A hot load will destroy brass. A semi auto will destroy brass.

very nice toy Bapple

I'm currently using a Wilson case trimmer, and a modified Sinclair motorized neck turner

I don't shoot quantity , strictly quality for precision .... Lapua brass, Berger bullets, Vihtavuori powder, custom actions, Jewell triggers, etc ....

I'm the opposite. As long as it functions in my gun, I'm good. The brass will get torn up but 5.56/223 is very easy to get a hold of. I love this trimmer though.

does this improve precision or appearance?
