Why are there no stop light bums in Jefferson Parish?

Panhandling is against the law and that law is actually enforced in Jefferson parish.

It is a ridiculous problem in Houston
From TD, I thought that homeless didnt exist on Houston in comparison to Nola.

Police actually do their job. There are some every now and then though. Causeway and vets is popular.

You are correct. I do see bums once in awhile on Jefferson hwy in that area. I imagine people don't call to complain about them there as that is a low income area. I have seen them on clearview and veterans as well but they are generally scooped up by the sheriffs dept pretty quick

the same 2 bums are at River Road and causeway all the time. one is a black guy who i suspect isnt homeless. The other is a schizo (sp) old skinny lady who talks to herself. Theyve been there for years and are almost there daily
