Shitting the bed against #1 at home can get quite old

If our football team would come out with the same intensity against other teams like they do against Alabama, and our basketball team would come out with the same intensity against other teams like they do against Kentucky, maybe losses like this might not sting so much

Out football team is Bamasessed and our bball team is Kentuckysessed

Yea, I certainly understand the sentiment, but would prefer that we play the best teams in the country to the wire than just rolling over and getting our asses kicked like many others. Yes, I'd prefer that we just make another play or two and win the damned game.

I don't really think our basketball team is Kentuckysessed.

We can't even beat the likes of Mizzou, Miss St, and Auburn.

yeah probably not. But it is really annoying seeing both football and basketball teams play out of their minds against top competition only to shite the bed in the end, and at the same time, lose to bottom feeders

I agree but for a different reason.

BAMA If the pass which got BAMA in position for the winning field goal is reviewed its overturned and they face 4th and long from their 40 with only seconds left.

KENTUCKY On Towns go ahead basket to make it 70-69 he clearly cleared out martin with his left arm before the shot - should have been offensive foul negating the basket.

On the offensive rebound by Towns with 20 seconds left he clearly had his elbow on Mickey's shoulder. Should have been a two shot foul for LSU which gave them opportunity to stretch a one point lead if prior foul had been called negating the basket by Towns.

Really our football team matches up with any top program over the last decade,so it's obvious whose fault it is
JJ is building the basketball program, but if he does not feed his best players in big time situations then he'll be dale brown for falling short.i liked dale brown but he fell short with elite talent too.
Thank God for skip bertman!

You couldn't in football last year, either.

Wow, you're blaming the refs for all of that???? What a pussy you are.

It's just not possible to play with max intensity every game. A team can do it a few times per year, but you just can't emotionally stay that high every game. It just can't happen. There are natural ebbs and flows to every season.

Man it's hard to argue with this.
It pisses me off when kids I'm coaching do it, and it pisses me off when LSU does it. You should come out and play your absolute best and absolute hardest no matter the game and no matter the opponent. If you have "another gear" in big games it means you don't usually give it your all and you're a bad competitor

Exactly. I was pissed and still am. I wanted to fight old men on the way to my car, but others had the audacity to smile and laugh???? What gives? Why does no one care?

No need for ad hominem attacks.

Am I right about those points I made? If I am then in both instances failures on the officials parts clearly had a profound impact on the outcome of those games.
