UPDATE NEXUS 4 5 and 6 dont support WIFI CALLING - NO LONGER NEEDED

looks like i have to dump tmo after all.
thanks tmo for sending me a cellspot router after you looked up my devices which you said would work that is useless.
thanks for telling me today on the phone that 'it says the nexus devices work..oh wait, on the last screen it says the n4, 5 and 6 dont support wifi calling'

UPDATE - just set up a separate google voice number and it does the same damn thing. just set it so if your tmo # is out of range or you dont get to it after x amount of seconds it goes to the google number.
its more complicated than it needs to be but once you get the hang of it, it works.
looks like i have to dump tmo after all.

Why do you need wifi calling on your cell phone? Don't you get unlimited minutes?

Blame T-Mobile for not releasing the app.
I know on the AT&T S4 you could flash the stock T-Mobile S4 rom to make it work, so maybe you could do the same on the Nexus.

Are you worried about calling them, or them calling you? Do you have a Google Voice number? Hangouts Dialer lets you use the app to call using your GV #. So if you are calling your parents, your GV # would show up on their caller ID. If you are worried about them calling you, maybe look into forwarding your T-Mobile number if unanswered to your GV #.

This. I was in the middle of nowhere IL for work a few months ago with zero cell coverage on TMobile. GV and hangouts dialer worked like a charm over WiFi. The other users don't need hangouts.
