Does he not know that these kids are allowed to play for other schools?

There are about 4 power five worthy kids per cycle. Senator should help the high schools. Central Catholic and Jesuit recruit the best kids in state and they like Stanford a lot.

Washington State didn't sign anybody from the state of Washington either. There was like 35 players or so in the state that signed with a D1 school, so it's not like there wasn't any options for them.

Oregon is built on speed. White hippies from the suburbs don't fit the profile.

"Dear senator,

How about you refrain from talking about sports with us adults and stick to saying nice things to people with money so you can keep your pointless job?"

Signed, Oregon Football Fans.

I don't think you would be.

Just scrolled through the ESPN top 300....zero kids from the state of Oregon.

I think the staff up there in Eugene know what they're doing and don't need advice from a senator with his head up his arse.

Mike Golic says he's a 5 star but was unfairly graded
