How bad can it possibly be? How can someone with their whole life ahead of them

think killing themselves is ok? It's not ok. For fricks sake. Why would someone cause everyone around them this much heartache?

because to them, it's the only way out from the intense pain and suffering they're going through.
I know it's hard as a loved one to deal with, but you don't kill yourself because you think everyone loves you and your life is great.

Sometimes it is physiological with imbalance in their mind. Deficiencies or whatnot that people that do not have these issues wouldn't understand...I don't know that feels like and I am grateful, but I never feel anger towards someone who does. I feel sorry for them.

My father told me a long time ago that taking your own life is the most selfish and cowardly thing a man can ever do. Sometimes this life is hard but there is always someone out there that has it harder.

It is the most selfish act imaginable.
They choose to end their own personal suffering while simultaneously causing anguish and despair in countless others.
The only ethical difficulty would be if they had a severe progressive terminal illness. That has some merit although I still disagree with suicide.
Spare us all the "what about how they feel?" Your feelings are just that. Feelings. Not reality. Not facts. Just emotional underpinnings swept away with human sentiment.
Have courage. Have character. Chose to live and to be a blessing to others.

I used to think like you then I had someone close to me battle depression. Until you go through the depths and despair that someone suffering from depression goes through, you really can't judge.

I think the pain is unbearable, so much hurt that you can't see beyond it. I think when a person reaches this point they are mentally ill. No one in there right mind would hurt those that they love or those of those who love them.
