Now that they're getting paid 3 to 5 million and have become spokesmen for universities I was wondering how intelligent they are

Judging by most of their abilities to manage a simple clock and coordinate plays, I'm gonna say they are in the bottom half of intelligence. Coach speak for instance is quite basic. Guys like sabin don't fumble words only because they have memorized about 100 sentences - actually believe miles is an anomaly and is quite intelligent and messes with the media

But most of them if they weren't coaching they'd probably be a PE coach

Btw when do u think we will have the first female head coach at a major program?

I wouldn't coach cfb for 10 mil
Would bore me to death and seems somewhat stressful since u could be fired as a result of delusional fans who would blame bad luck or the play of teenagers on you and ask for your head

It's 90% luck and who you know. Just look at Les Miles.

Someone like Nick Saban would be successful in anything he put his mind to.

I'll actually buy this to an extent, but not most of them.

Many of them are definitely meat heads though. Remember Mike Tice?

Guys like Dave Wannstedt, Steve Kragthorpe, or Greg Schiano never struck me as being too bright

You mean a 1970s era tutor from Michigan has an extra economics degree.

AD should request he put his mind to basic level clock management and logic then.
