quote:

"I ain't pumped up. I've just got a lot on my mind," he told reporters. "The crazy thing about it is, I've just got a question for y'all: How you gonna stop God's plan? How you gonna do that? How you gonna do that? That's all I want to know. How you gonna stop God's plan?

"Man, this city done put me through so much, and I stayed loyal to it the whole time. Hey, I just wanna know, how you gonna stop God's plan? God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. The marathon continues. I'm out."

I hope he's able to survive this battle, prayers sent soldier

I really think this guy would be soooooo good if you could get him on a stable, competitive team.

Sacramento is just a mess.

He could be good, but his behavior/mental-midgetness will probably turn a stable team into a mess.

DeMarcus Cousins in place of Dwight Howard would make the Rockets an immediate title favorite. Of this I am sure.

Making $5 million dollars but playing on a shite NBA franchise is God's hardest battle?

Still haven't seen an answer to his question. How are you going to stop god's plan though?

I can't wait to see Boogie on a competent team. I think Sacramento is just sucking the life out of him

They were a playoff team before he got sick and the owner went crazy and fired the coach.

There are countless examples of guys that people try to use that same line about that once they are put in a winning situation it all disappears.

The second gif tells you all you need to know about his mental fortitude.

Absolutely this. Hell. Dwight Howard has been no trouble in Houston, despite all of the predictions that the team would explode. His biggest problem is health.

Oh 2 gifs. Great evidence you got there.

quote:

Cousins is No. 6 in scoring, No. 3 in rebounding, No. 6 in PER, No. 4 in overall real plus-minus and No. 3 in defensive real plus-minus. The Kings outscore teams by six points per 100 possessions when Boogie is on the court and are outscored by 13 per 100 possessions when he's not. If you want to go more basic, the Kings are 14-18 in games in which Cousins played and 2-10 when he didn't.

quote:

That's right. The Kings' starting five has a net rating of +18.4, better than the starting lineup of the Clippers, a 33-16 team, and substantially better than the starting lineup of the Hawks, who are 40-9.

quote:

DeMarcus Cousins is the team's defensive anchor and the data shows how much of an impact he makes. The starting five with Cousins has a superb defensive rating of 90.9.Replace Cousins with Reggie Evans -- reputed as a good defender and Boogie's injury replacement during the Michael Malone era -- and the Kings' defensive rating falls to a pedestrian 107.

Hell people mocked (me included) the idea of JR Smith being a plus player in Cleveland and he has been great for them.

I need to go hunt down the classic Zbo trade thread.
