I will agree that BTR is a terrible airport from a consumer point of view, but in terms of airfield capacity and layout it is more than enough. I will be curious to see what the cause of this was.
As a nation our airports are miles ahead of other forms of domestic infrastructure, but they do not necessarily compare to Frankfurt, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong or Doha because the nature of ownership and the passenger composition is 180 degrees different.

Explain why our airports are terrible... Provide some details,you sound like someone who flew through Changi once and are using that as a measuring stick for every US airport
